Guatemala

rainbow

I just returned from Guatemala where we met with spiritual leaders from all around the world to share our thoughts and feelings about the new consciousness of Oneness beyond Duality and the challenges of the coming time. This was again a significant step to unify people from different cultures and religions.
Singing our sacred chants again created a magical heart-connection between all of us, more than any other ritual or sharing of thoughts could do!

Here you can see a little video about the prayers we did on sacred Lake Atitlan and a message of my friend J.J. Hurtak:

Website update

Dear friends,

after returning from the Peace-Tour with my Native Elder friends where we met many people who are looking for change in this world, I was finally able to launch a complete updated version of my home-page. Although it doesn‘t look very different it has changed a lot.

The most important new feature for you is that you have the possibility to listen to long audio-samples of each song in high quality. If I go to web-sites of other musicians or Amazon to learn new music, I am always missing good samples to get really an idea what the music is about. So I added 85 samples of all my songs which play together more than 7 hours!

In order to taste good food you must eat it and not read about it and so I thought I offer you a lot of good material so you can know what my music sounds like and whether you like it or not. I hope this will whet your appetite for more music on the Cds!

You have also the possibility to download every song as mp3-file.

The other big change for me is that I will be able to update my site myself now, which makes it much easier and faster for me to give you the latest news about my work.

At the moment there might be a few bugs but please be patient - I am working on that.

Sending you peacefull wishes and blessings from sunny Portugal

Blue Star

I just spent a week with "Blue Star" (www.bluestar.de) in the recording studio.
I followed the request of many listeners to record an album with native Spirit chants. The recordings went very well and you can expect a very groovy and powerful music, to make you chant and dance! Hopefully it can be released by the end of the year.

Through Love - Live in India

Finally I released my new Album "Through Love - Live in India" with Ustad Sultan Khan, Ahura and myself. We recorded the concerts that we played for the Tsunami victims in Mumbay, January 2005. This recordings convey you a very rare blend of meditative as well as ecstatic Sufi-music, that is fare beyond the experience of a normal studio production.

Our concert in the Royal Festival Hall London was the perfect occasion to launch the album. It was a great concert, very ecstatic and I had the impression, that the audience felt the healing power of spiritual music. Music still is the strongest medium to cross borders and unite people in the heart. It was strange, we had severe problems to get visa for all the musicians. Hidayat Khan who was supposed to open the concert couldn't even come. Sultan Khan and his musicians got the UK-visa the day before the concert but not for Portugal, so we had to cancel the whole trip which is very sad.

It seems that fear and mistrust are getting stronger and that people on both sides seem to have an interest in this. But through all times the great musicians and mystic poets like Rumi and Khabir didn't fear the authorities and enriched the world with their songs beyond religion and dogma.

We feel ourselves very much obliged to this tradition and we will carry on the message of peace and understanding through our music and songs!
